Our Heritage
A Faithful Journey Since 1886
Marshallton United Methodist Church traces its roots to 1886, when a small group of faithful believers gathered in a simple frame structure to worship and serve their community. What began as a modest chapel has grown into a vibrant congregation that continues to honor its past while embracing the future.
Our original building, with its distinctive Gothic windows and sturdy Brandywine Granite foundation, still stands as a testament to the dedication of those early members. Every stone and stained-glass pane tells a story of perseverance, hope, and unwavering faith.
